The nostalgic red pillar post box of early 20th century Japan. The 1934 iteration featured an enlarged hood over the slot and could take larger, bulkier mail than early models. Miniature is 25mm tall. Painted example is for illustrative purposes only; police officer and Natsuko for scale reference only.
