An unpainted 28mm metal miniature for $5.
The miniature comes in two parts, body and sword.
This is an Imperial Japanese Army officer wearing the Meiji 45 (1912) uniform and armed with a Kyu-gunto sword. These were European-style sabers used before the introduction of more traditional-style swords in the 1930s.
Whether occupying Siberia, fighting in China or even the streets of Tokyo, our Taisho soldiers are ideal for all scenarios calling for Japanese troops in winter gear between 1912 and the 1930s.
Painted example is a resin prototype for illustrative purposes only.
