A set of five unpainted 28mm metal miniatures for $20.

During the war, civilians were trained to fight with bamboo spears in the event of an Allied invasion. The Volunteer Military Service Law was enacted on Jun. 23, 1945 and allowed for the conscription of all males 15-60 and unmarried females 17-40 into the National Volunteer Corps. This theoretically put 28 million citizens under arms, though the arms were usually bamboo spears complimented by “fighting spirit.”

This set contains five uniquely sculpted unmarried female volunteers wearing every day work clothes with headbands to bolster fighting spirit and their status as combatants denoted by white arm bands. Each comes in two pieces; the spear arms are NOT interchangeable between them so please be careful before gluing them together! These can be used as bamboo-spear armed militia in popular war games, tabletop games or dioramas.

Painted examples are resin prototypes for illustrative purposes.

戦争中、連合国軍の侵攻に備え、民間人は竹槍での戦闘訓練を受けた。「義勇兵役法」は1945年6月23日に制定され、15歳から60歳の男性および17歳から40歳の未婚女性を「国民義勇戦闘隊」として徴用することを認めた。これにより理論上2800万人の市民が武装したが、武器は通常「竹槍」と「闘志」に頼るものだった。

 

本セットには、戦闘意欲を高めるための頭巾と戦闘員としての身分を示す白腕章を装着した、日常作業服姿の未婚女性志願兵5体を収録。各フィギュアは2パーツ構成で、槍を持つ腕部は互換性がないため、接着前に十分ご注意ください！人気ウォーゲーム、テーブルトップゲーム、ジオラマにおける竹槍装備民兵としてご活用いただけます。
